Over the past two months or so working from home, we managed to play around with the OPPO Reno 3 Pro camera quite a bit. OPPO has just officially launched the latest OPPO Reno 3 series in Malaysia! Aside from the OPPO Reno 3, the company also launched the OPPO Reno 3 Pro with a slightly more powerful MediaTek Helio P95 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. 

After months of waiting, Malaysians who have been eyeing the OPPO Reno 3 series smartphones will finally be able to get them locally. OPPO Malaysia has just confirmed that the 2 models in the OPPO Reno 3 series - the Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro - will be launching in Malaysia soon.

OPPO has recently announced that their OPPO Reno 3 Pro has been officially unveiled in India and it is priced from INR29990(~RM1745) for the 128GB ROM while the 256GB ROM variant will be available at INR32990(~RM1920). In terms of the key features, it comes with a 44MP + 2MP front-facing selfie camera while the rear comes with a quad-camera setup a 64MP + 13MP + 8MP + 2MP sensors.

Based on a statement by @stufflistings on Twitter, it seems that there is a possibility that the OPPO Reno 3 Pro could come equipped with a 44MP+2MP front-facing selfie camera. But that’s not all, Arun Maini also posted an image of what could be the front of the alleged Reno 3 Pro onto his Twitter account as well which further solidifies @stufflisting’s statement.

During the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit, OPPO announced the highly anticipated OPPO Reno 3 Pro will be equipped with a Snapdragon 765 5G chipset. The OPPO Reno 3 Pro is also said to be the first dual-mode 5G device from the brand, and it will be launching soon this month (probably next year for Malaysia). Other than that, OPPO will also use the newly announced Snapdragon 865 chipset in their flagship 5G smartphone in 2020.
