News & Reviews:   OPPO Reno 6 Malaysia pre-order

After almost two months of waiting, OPPO Malaysia just announced that the OPPO Reno6 Z 5G and Reno6 5G are coming to Malaysia soon. Although no exact date was given, we can guess it would be at least 2 weeks given the tradition of teasing and releasing.

At the end of May, OPPO has finally unveiled the latest Reno6 series which includes the Reno6, Reno6 Pro and the Reno6 Pro. At the moment, we don't know when the phones would come here but what we do have is the first look at the Purple Star model with three awesome bundled gifts.

It was only a few days ago that we got to see an alledged full design leak of the OPPO Reno 6 5G series. All the three models - the Reno6 5G, Reno6 Pro 5G and Reno6 Pro+ 5G all look identical but we weren't prepared to see a new kickstand cum protective casing add-on accessory.

At first glance, we thought it's some kind of a new original built-in design on the phone but it's not the case (pun intended). This kickstand case accessory can do two things - being a kickstand (duh) and also act as a selfie flash. How it becomes a selfie flash is quite clever, as it uses the flashlight reflection from the rear camera's LED flash.

It wasn't that long ago when OPPO released the Reno5 series last year. Now, the company is gearing up to release the next successors soon and rumours are pointing it on 27 May 2021 in China. That said, we got ourselves some fully rendered images of the Reno6 5G and Reno6 Pro 5G from @evleaks.

Based on a statement by Digital Chat Station on weibo, it seems that the upcoming OPPO Reno 6 smartphone tech specs might have been leaked, giving us a better idea of what to expect when it is available in the global market. While not much is known in regards to the Malaysia release date, it does give us a better idea of what to expect from OPPO.
