With the launch of the iPhone 16 series around the world (including Malaysia), Apple is probably preparing for its next mini-event in October. Just like for the past few years, there is a good chance that Apple is going to announce new MacBook, Mac and iPad devices.

Besides the annual Apple Event in September showcasing the new iPhones, there could be another one in October showing the new iPads and Macs. We won't be surprised if that was the case since it usually happens, but here's everything that you need to know about the October Apple showcase.

Under the Jendela Initiative, it seems that around 839 locations across 8 Malaysian states will be getting broadband access service via Satellite by October 2021. Earlier, OPPO was rumoured to launch their very first TV around October this year and it will come in two sizes. As we're stepping into the said month, the brand has finally shared the first teaser of the TV today. The teaser was shot in 8K RAW but it was mastered to 4K 120 fps as the TV will only feature 4K panel instead of an 8K one.

Based on a statement by gizmochina.com, it seems that OPPO will be unveiling their very own smart TV somewhere around October 2020. While not much is known in regards to the tech specs of the TV, we do know that it will most likely be available in China first before other markets.

The MCMC chairman has announced very recently, stating that up 32 5G sites across 6 states such as Kedah, Perak, Penang, Selangor, Terengganu and Kuala Lumpur will be operational starting October 2019. Since it is a test, the sites mentioned will remain operational for as long as half a year to demonstrate it’s usage in agriculture, education, digital media, healthcare, manufacturing, oil and gas, smart cities, transportation and tourism.
