CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau confirmed in an interview that the upcoming OnePlus 7 smartphone will not have wireless charging and with good reason. The OnePlus smartphones have always been about keeping the best features it has while discarding whatever they feel is unnecessary to keep the price of the smartphone low.

When OnePlus first came out it was the flagship killer, the one delivering flagship performance and features for a fraction of the price. Now with the OnePlus 6 and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is it still the value king? Find out in our review of the OnePlus 6 below.

Lazada has recently listed the Red Colour OnePlus 6 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage model on their website priced at RM2799. Not only that, for the first 50 customers who pre-ordered the device will be eligible for a free OnePlus Bullets Earphones V2 which is worth RM149. The pre-orders is expected to ship somewhere around 1 August 2018 courtesy of Lazada.

Love it or hate it, the OnePlus 6 is here with the notch design and it's now official. Comparing to its predecessors last year, this new OnePlus device sure looks sleek and different thanks to the Corning Gorilla 5 glass material wrapping the body. Amazon briefly listed the OnePlus 6 before it was taken down on Amazon Germany's official website. The device was priced at €519(~RM2449) for the 64GB model and €569(~RM2685) for the 128GB model. Amazon also listed the available colours of the OnePlus 6 as well which is the Midnight-Black and Mirror Black for now but expect more to come in the future.

Based on the TENAA listing, the OnePlus 6 is confirmed to be running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, either 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, 20MP + 16MP dual camera setup in the rear, 16MP selfie camera, a 6.28-inch display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels.

Just another friendly reminder, the OnePlus 6 will be revealed pretty soon on 17 May 2018 in China and as always, before the big launch, there will always be a leaked model and here online, someone just had to compare the OnePlus 6 model to an Apple iPhone X.

After some guesses on the OnePlus 6 official launch online, including the one that might be released on 21 May 2018. The company has just confirmed that 17 May 2018 will be the official launch date and will show up in China first. Time will start at 10 AM on that day so that applies to our local time zone too.

OnePlus have announced on their official Twitter account that their upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 6 will be waterproof. There is no additional information on whether the device will be IP67 or IP68, but it should be splashproof or safe in the rain. Still no Malaysia release dates or pricing details yet though.

OnePlus 6 rumours are gaining more momentum these few weeks, tech-specs leaks are all over the Internet and this latest leak is revealing a full front image of the flagship. And it's not the one on the cover header, but a real leaked OnePlus 6 model shot below.
