News & Reviews:   OnePlus 9 RT Malaysia release date

Last week, OnePlus confirmed that it would be launching the OnePlus 9 RT on 13 October 2021. At first, we thought it would be more like a variant of the OnePlus 9R. But based on new info teased on Weibo, it could be more of a variant of the OnePlus 9.

If you recall, it was rumoured way back in August that the OnePlus 9 RT would be launching in October 2021. This is probably a variant of the OnePlus 9R that was released in April. And OnePlus is planning to unveil it soon.

OnePlus is prepping for upcoming new smartphones this month and one of which will be the OnePlus 9 RT. We’ve reported it back in August and today, we got a new leak on its tech specs and it might not pack with the latest Android 12 out of the box.

While it turns out that OnePlus was just joking about launching a foldable phone, the company does have a few devices left for this year. One of them is the OnePlus 9 RT, which is a new model for the OnePlus 9 series. However, it's not going to be the only upcoming OnePlus device.
