OnePlus is reportedly launching a few smartphones this year and one of them is rumoured to be the OnePlus 10R. The device may be a continuation of the 9R and 9RT phones by the Chinese company, but as the naming scheme is not aligned, it may just be a new lineup of smartphones by OnePlus.

According to a report by pricebaba Daily, the 10R may also be a rebrand of the Realme GT Neo 3. Furthermore, the report also obtained a leaked render of the device that showcased a few interesting features.

We might be seeing a new OnePlus smartphone soon after the company was recently spotted receiving the mandatory 3C Certification in China for a device codenamed ‘PGKM10’. Shared by reliable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the upcoming OnePlus device will feature the Dimensity 8100 chipset and a whopping 160W fast charging capabilities.

Previously, Oppo was reported to be including a 150W fast charging tech in its latest smartphone and it seems that OnePlus is one-upping its partner company in this regard. Furthermore, given the device has already passed 3C Certification, it is very likely that OnePlus would be releasing this PGKM10 device soon.

Recently, we’ve been seeing a few patents relating to foldable smartphones from different smartphone brands like OPPO, Samsung, HUAWEI, and Xiaomi. Today, there’s a new patent from OnePlus which indicates a tri-folding smartphone which has three-display. 

Based on a statement by letsgodigital, it seems that OnePlus might be working on a smartphone that’s equipped with an in-bezel front-facing selfie camera. While not much is known in regards to which smartphone will actually come with the aforementioned feature, it does give us a better idea on what to expect when it is officially available in the local market.

One of the biggest drawbacks of the flagship killer, the OnePlus One was that the phone was not readily available. Anyone who wished to purchase the device had to have an invite code. But as a part of the holiday season promotion, OnePlus is offering its 'One' flagship killer smartphone without any invites. This promotion is only for a limited period; from now till 25 December 2014 and will last until stocks run out. Even though the phone retails for a very affordable price tag, it features a solid design. As for the tech specs, the OnePlus One comes with a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB / 64GB storage, a 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter. The One features a 3100 mAh capacity battery and runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat with CyanogenMod 11S UI. The unlocked 16GB storage variant of the OnePlus One is available for $299 (RM1045), while the 64GB variant is available for $350 (RM1224). The company does mention that stocks are limited, so the phone may run out of stock before 25 December 2014.

Well, rumours already indicated that OnePlus was coming to Malaysia and it appears that they have arrived, setting up a Facebook page and their first fan gathering. Set for 8 November 2014, the fan gathering will be held at 4pm at Coffee Bean SS15 Subang Jaya. Unfortunately, all the seats and tickets have been taken. Fans of the OnePlus One smartphone should not despair though, as it just means that we'll be seeing the One smartphone more often here in Malaysia, without having to go to third-party sellers.
