Microsoft is now raising the price of its PC Game Pass subscription in Malaysia, which will increase from RM20 to RM25 per month , effective October 2025. So, what should you know about it?

Today, CelcomDigi announced a new partnership with Microsoft to deliver PC Game Pass to their customers. The PC Game Pass is RM20 per month but as a special treat for CelcomDigi users, they can sign up for RM17 per month and redeem Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 in-game bundle.

Xbox's PC Game Pass has been in Malaysia for two years now. It's currently priced at RM15 per month but looks like the price will be increasing. According to the official document by Microsoft, the company will raise the monthly subscription prices in all markets starting on 12 September 2024.

Just a few hours ago, Xbox went live and showcased what they got in the next 12 months. During the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, there were many highly-anticipated video games such as Starfield, Forza Motorsport, Diablo IV, and Redfall, as well as other original IPs like Pentiment, High on Life, and Ravenlok. 

At the end of March, Microsoft released a PC Game Pass trial for the Southeast Asia region. We weren't sure how long would the trial lasts but looks like we got our answer as the PC Game Pass by Xbox is now officially launched in Malaysia.
