Cameras on smartphones has come a long way since the early days of mobile photography – but to some it is still lacking behind traditional cameras in picture quality. This doesn’t stop Motorola though, as they partnered with one of the world’s biggest magazine to create their current month’s cover – taken with the Hasselblad True Zoom Moto Mod for the Moto Z family.

Not one, but three new cameras are heading our way from Fujifilm, with one each for the affordable range, mid-range and compact range. The X-A10 will be the camera for the affordable range, while the X-T20 and X100T will be for the other two categories.

With the success of the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus, Leica and Huawei has recently signed a partnership into a new join venture called the ‘Max Berek Innovation Lab’. The two companies will be collaborating on development of new optical systems and software technologies to improve imaging quality in smartphones and other photographic applications.

With Photokina 2016 coming next week – leaks of upcoming products and features are starting to appear online as companies are ramping up to the launch dates. One of them is Canon, and we are expected to see the new Canon EOS-M5 pretty soon, if the images suggests.
