Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has proposed for Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and Perodua to forge cooperation in introducing affordable electric vehicle (EV) charging rates in Malaysia. Furthermore, Ismail also proposed for Telekom Malaysia (TM) to join in and provide data package that will enable users to book EV charging sessions online.

To revitalise the economic status of our country, our government has announced that the sales tax for locally-assembled vehicles and 50 percent reduction for fully-imported cars will be fully waived. With that being said, there is no doubt that the local brand Perodua would come into our mind. Today, the updated on-the-road prices of all the Perodua models have been revealed, and the deduction will be effective starting from 15 June to 31 December.
