Mi Fan Festival 2019 now offers deals and discounts off nearly all their products

The Mi Fan Festival 2019 has kicked off today with special deals and discounts off of nearly all their product range including smartphones, fitness trackers, smart watches and even their smart lights. Granted, many of the discounts are just a little bit off the top (like that Mi Max 3 I was eyeing) while some are as much as RM500 off (Mi 8 Pro), but if you’re looking for just a tiny bit more push to get that POCOPHONE F1 or Mi Band 3, now could be the time.

  • Dark mode is now here for the Pocophone F1

Dark mode is now here for the Pocophone F1

The Pocophone F1 has been wildly popular since its release and even till this day. One drawback about the device though, is is the Poco Launcher which is set in a bright mode which kind of hurts your eyes, especially at night. The latest update for this device brings with it Dark mode (huzzah!).

Alleged cheaper Pocophone F1 Lite spotted GeekBench

The Pocophone F1 could be having a little brother as the Pocophone F1 Lite has been spotted on GeekBench, equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset and 4GB of RAM. The Pocophone F1 last year managed to claim the title as the cheapest smartphone to come equipped with the then top of the line Snapdragon 845 chipset. Could the F1 Lite be aiming for the cheapest device, running on a Snapdragon 660 SoC?

Some didn't bother switching, some made a smaller notch and there were some pop-up front cameras too. But among all these efforts, Xiaomi came out with something that's kind of an ingenious move - a simple slider mechanism on the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 and it's currently one of my favourite phones of 2019 so far. Read below to find out why!
