    Google announces Project Tango tablet

While this may not be news for everyone, Google wants to map the entire world. Project Tango was developed to do that without having to rely on just satellite information and Google's now infamous street view cars, rather devices around you would be able to 3D map your environments and therefore create a reference point for apps to better understand you and your needs. In layman's terms, it would be like the 3D mapping that Batman used in The Dark Knight Rises. Google's Advanced Technologies and Projects (ATAP) team have come out with said tablet that can do that kind of 3D mapping recently. They are now offering it to developers as part of kit that will cost $1024 (RM3292) to get. The Project Tango SDK is already available for download while the tablet may go on pre-order soon.
