A recent study by Data Reportal, a platform for global statistics, revealed that Malaysia recorded the second-highest QR Code usage in the world last year. The study’s findings, as shared by The Nation, showed that 66.1% of the Malaysian population used QR Codes monthly last year.

As previously announced, the Malaysian government has begun a QR Code trial period at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 and KLIA Terminal 2. However, it seems that we will need to download a new app for that purpose

Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail today announced that the Special Committee Tackling the Johor Causeway Congestion has agreed to procure the use of a quick response (QR) code system for the border crossing with Singapore.
