Have you been waiting for the chunky 1TB variant of the ROG Phone 2? Wait no more, for ASUS Malaysia has just announced its availability. The ROG Phone 2, with its hefty 12GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage, can now be yours for RM4499.

The ROG Phone 2 is notable for its gestures detection on its AirTriggers for gaming. Now it gets a new software update that improves the gestures and mapping for the AirTriggers. AirTriggers are a pair of an ultrasonic sensor on the right frame of the device. It was first introduced on the original ROG phone and a more refined sensor on the ROG Phone 2.

After several months of waiting, the wait is finally over. ASUS Malaysia has officially brought in the ROG Phone 2 and compared with the Tencent version (imported), the Malaysia set will start straight from 12GB of RAM with 512GB or up to 1TB storage (in November). The following price will start from RM3499 and RM4499 respectively and here's what you need to know on how to get one. 

So we mentioned that the ROG Phone 2 is set to be released in China during the third quarter of 2019, but we now have an official date from ASUS which is on 23 July 2019. That's just a month away but that's not all, we also got some rumours on the price tag as well.

It's been a year now since the ROG Phone was revealed to the world and surely captured a lot of attention (especially from the Philippines for some reason). With the popularity, there's bound to be a successor in the works and not surprisingly, ROG Phone 2 is scheduled to be released in the third quarter of 2019.
