In this short news, Samsung Malaysia has unexpectedly cut slashed off the price on the Samsung Galaxy A7! Initially on sale at a recommended retail price of RM1299, the new promo price will be now RM1099 with immediate effect and it seems like a permanent price (until further notice).

As we move towards the end of 2018, we have definitely witnessed the trend of the battle of the mid-range smartphones in Malaysia. A keen observer would notice that smartphone brands are catering to selfie lovers with aggressive prices and respectable tech specs. Samsung is no stranger to this as they are starting to shift towards its Galaxy A series on this, and the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) is certainly an eye-catching device.

Today, Samsung Malaysia has announced that there will be a Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) roadshow held in multiple locations. It will start this weekend from 26 until 28 October 2018 and there will be some special performances by some local artists as well, such as Jeii Pong, Gaston Pong, Adrian Tan and Ismail Izzani but only at Sunway Pyramid.

So in this short announcement - previously, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) was supposed to be on a pre-order period from 15 until 21 October 2018 for RM1299. However, in just three days, the latest mid-range triple camera phone has been completely sold out!

Today, Samsung has officially revealed the much-talked mid-range device, the triple camera Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) and the quadruple camera Galaxy A9 (2018) at the global launch in Malaysia. It looks like it was designed to enter the trend of camera-centric smartphones that has been happening recently. Unfortunately, no price was announced for the Galaxy A9 (2018) but is scheduled for November 2018 release.

Leaked images of what could be the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) have appeared showing a triple rear camera setup. Found by leakster @rquandt on belsimpel.nl, the images clearly show a single front camera as well, indicating that this could be the 4x Fun smartphone Samsung is reportedly announcing on 11 October 2018 (as in 4x cameras, so maybe no quad rear cameras just yet). We think that the triple cameras will include dual rear cameras that have a bokeh effect while the other will include either a wide angle or telephoto/zoom effect.
