Last month, Samsung has launched the Galaxy A series smartphones which are the Galaxy A32 series, Galaxy A52 series, and Galaxy A72. Here, we found a rumour that the company is working on a new device - the Galaxy A82.

 It seems that a tweet by @stufflistings on Twitter hinted that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A82 smartphone has recently been spotted, hinting that it will come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset. While it may not be the highest performing chipset to date, it was considered a flagship chipset with flagship performance in 2020.

Just this week, Samsung launch the Galaxy A32, A52, and A72 smartphones. That's a lot of mid-range devices to launch in one go, but the company has more in the works. Rumours of a Galaxy A82 have been popping up and now we have some news about its camera specs.

It's been 2 years since the Samsung Galaxy A80 was released and we just spotted the Galaxy A82 (SM-A826S) appearing on Geekbench. The device might sport a Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and run on Android 11 out of the box.

Sliding phones are something of a past and it's rarely applied on smartphones these days. At most, the ones that do have it is the OPPO Find X but OPPO never went back to using it again. In this news, it seems that Samsung has applied a new patent for a new dual slider smartphone.

Do you still remember the Samsung Galaxy A80 that comes with a flipping camera module? A new rumour suggests that the device could be getting a successor after more than a year. However, for some reason, the successor is not named Galaxy A81 but instead A82.
