Samsung may be preparing to launch its most ambitious foldable device yet—the Galaxy G Fold, a tri-fold smartphone potentially priced above RM12100 (around USD 2930).

During the launch of the Galaxy S25 series last month, the existence of a tri-folding screen device was teased alongside smart glasses and an XR headset. Previous rumours said the device would launch as the Galaxy G Fold in a few years. So, what should you know about it?

Last year, a report claimed Samsung has plans to launch a tri-fold phone in 2025. Unlike the Huawei Mate XT, it's said this phone would have hinges that let both sides fold inwards. In addition, a tipster claimed that the name of this device has already been confirmed.
