Samsung Malaysia Electronics have just announced their new Samsung Galaxy J 2016 series with the Galaxy J1 2016, Galaxy J5 2016 and Galaxy J7 2016. The Galaxy J3 2016 priced at RM649 is already available but the Galaxy J1 2016, Galaxy J5 2016 and Galaxy J7 2016 will be available in Malaysia tomorrow at RM449, RM849 and RM1049 respectively, with only these three coming with a free YES 4G LTE prepaid SIM card with 2 months of 30GB of data. This offer is also only available while stocks last, so if you're in for freebies and value, you know what you have to do tomorrow.

This week, in a field previously dominated by Samsung and LG, Lenovo showed off their flexible phone-watch bracelet and foldable tablet concept alongside their modular Moto Z and Moto Z Force. Lenovo also announced their Phab 2, Phab 2 Plus and Phab 2 Pro (which is the first consumer Tango phone) while the ZTE nubia Z11 Max also went official as well. In China, the Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro officially appeared as well.

After the TechNave exclusive pics and tech specs of the Samsung Galaxy J3 2016, Galaxy J5 2016 and Galaxy J7 2016 were revealed, Samsung Malaysia have gone and made it official by sending out invites for the Samsung Galaxy J 2016 series launch in Malaysia. The launch is set to happen on 15 June 2016, confirming earlier reports of the event.

Along with the recent hands-on pics and pricing details for the Samsung Galaxy J3 2016, our intrepid Mr. Anonymous also sent us catalogue images of the tech specs and comparison tables for the Galaxy J3 2016, Galaxy J5 2016 and Galaxy J7 2016. What is interesting about the tables is that they clearly state that the J3 2016 will have a plastic body while the J5 2016 and J7 2016 will have a metal body.
We've rewritten the tech specs here but as per the previous post, the Galaxy J3 2016 is currently available in Malaysia for RM649 while the Galaxy J5 2016 and Galaxy J7 2016 may go for RM849 and RM1049 respectively, with both expected to be available next week. Recently, we received an exclusive report that the latest Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 is now available in Malaysia for RM649. We even have hands-on pics of the device with tech specs of the J3 2016 revealed to include a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB storage, a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and 2600 mAh battery. The pictures certainly look authentic but since this is a rumour, do take it with a pinch of salt.
According to our anonymous source the Galaxy J5 2016 could go for RM849 while the Galaxy J7 2016 could be priced at RM1049. Both the J5 2016 and J7 2016 are expected next week with an official launch or Malaysia release date expected on either 9 June or 15 June 2016. This time around, Samsung is releasing their Galaxy J7 (2016) in Europe, Spain after their announcement last month in China. Samsung Spain has listed the device on their official website, stock ready plus a pricing tag of €299 (RM1309). But there seems to be a change in the display and memory department of the phone, where the website posted that the Galaxy J7 (2016) will come with a 1280 x 720 HD resolution and 2GB of RAM.

Samsung have officially listed the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) and Galaxy J5 (2016) in their China site. The new smartphones have brushed metal backsides, NFC and 4G LTE but while the battery size is similar, both have different features. About two months ago, both Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016)'s tech specs were leaked on GFXBench and have gone quiet ever since then. This time leaked by TENAA, both devices looks similar and will feature LED flashes on the front camera.
