In conjunction with Lazada's 9th birthday, Samsung Malaysia will be releasing a budget-friendly device - the Galaxy M02 on their online store there. Available in blue and black, it will be on sale for RM399 but just for one day only on 27 March, it will be priced at RM299 (while stocks last).  

Earlier, Samsung had introduced the Galaxy M02s as a budget smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery. Now, the company has released a cheaper version of the device that is named Galaxy M02. Let's find out what the new budget Samsung phone has for us other than an affordable price tag!

Based on a statement by techradar.com, it looks like the Samsung Galaxy M02 budget smartphone will be unveiled in the Indian market for the price of around INR6999 (~RM387). While not much is known in regards to Malaysia release date, it does give us a better idea on what to expect when it is officially in the local market.

Samsung isn't a brand that is always tied with flagship smartphones. Sometimes, the company makes budget smartphones to satisfy a wider range of customers as well. With that said, Samsung might be launching two budget smartphones soon and they're called Galaxy A02 and Galaxy M02.
