With the on-going rumours of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 7, a local daily newspaper in South Korea, Munwha Ilbo, they reported that "Samsung is not considering launching a flat screen version of the Note phone." Wait, so does that mean we get to see a dual curve edge on the device?

As you may have heard already, a new Samsung Galaxy Note is on the way and it could be called the Galaxy Note 7 instead of 6. In case you're wondering why they would do that, that's because the company wants the lineup to be in tally with their latest Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge models. Although it's all just speculation for now, here's a new and convincing one; someone has discovered a new smartphone registered on Samsung's website.

Reports online are stating that not only we will be getting a Samsung Galaxy Note 6, there will also be a Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Lite model, that is not so light in specs. It is reported to use different processor and RAM amount compared to the main model, but will look the same externally.

It is nearly time for the next Galaxy Note cycle to start, and a leaked report on popular social site Weibo confirmed many features of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 6, including the screen size, possible processor options, as well the possibility of the Note 6 using the new USB Type C connector.

Samsung may be releasing their next generation Galaxy Note series the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 sometime in August 2016 (as they did so for the previous versions as well). Reports suggest that Samsung created two prototypes of the Galaxy Note 6 during the testing phase and will select only one of them for the official release. One of the prototypes features a double-curved screen, while the other prototype houses a flat display. Tech specs for both of the devices are identical though.

According to a report, we may just get better images from Samsung smartphones real soon. While Samsung already chose to prioritise pixel size over megapixel count in their latest Galaxy S7 Edge, rumours suggest that they are taking the next step in creating better smartphone sensors for their upcoming flagships, perhaps even the upcoming Galaxy Note 6?

Apparently PhoneArena received a CPU-Z screenshot about the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 from someone who claimed to be a Samsung employee. From the screenshot we can tell that tech specs and features could include a 5.8-inch screen with a 1440 x 2560 Quad HD resolution, 6 GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, 3700mAh battery and Samsung's own Exynos 8890 SoC. The phone model will be known as SM-N930F, and the CPU-Z screenshot is available right below.

With the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge out and about, the rumour mill is starting to gear up for the next smartphone, which for Samsung would be the Samsung Galaxy Note 6. Rumours indicate that the Note 6 may have 6GB of RAM and a 5.8-inch 2K display. As it is, the Vivo Xplay 5 Elite is already the world's first 6GB RAM smartphone and more are expected to come from other smartphone makers so 6GB of RAM for the Note 6 does sound plausible.
