Samsung recent announcement of their new flagship phablet, Samsung Galaxy Note 7, were originally planned to land in Malaysia next week. But due to the company is experiencing a global suppy constraint in meeting the demands of market launches, Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn Bhd will be rescheduling the Malaysia launch to September 2016.

Today, Yes has announced that they are offering online pre-orders for the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 7. which was revealed days ago retailing at RM3199 (inclusive of GST). It is available for pre-order at the Yes Online Store from as low as RM1599 (inclusive of GST) with eligible Yes 4G LTE postpaid plans.

Samsung's latest device, the Galaxy Note 7 has followed the footsteps of the Galaxy S7 edge in adopting the dual-edge curve screen feature, not only that, let's not forget Xiaomi did it too with the Redmi Pro, along with vivo's own XPlay 5. Other companies like Meizu, OPPO, Huawei and even Apple have been reported to jump on the bandwagon.

The moment you have been waiting for is here. No, not the official launch (but we expect it to be pretty soon) but the Malaysian telcos are opening pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 for their customers – and their packages are quite enticing to say the least.

The pre-order for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in Malaysia is already over before the end of the day, and if you happen to be one of those who are thinking that it kind of similar to the Galaxy S7 edge, you aren't alone because we thought the same too. Aside from the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, Samsung also announced their Samsung Gear VR for the Galaxy Note 7. Powered by Oculus Rift VR, the Gear VR may be made for the Note 7 but it is also backward compatible with other Samsung devices like the Galaxy S7 edge and Galaxy S7. No Malaysia release dates but we expect it to be coupled with the Galaxy Note 7 when it arrives on 19 August 2016.
