Samsung Malaysia Electronics have made it official with a recall notice for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. According to them, as of 1 September, 35 cases have been reported globally regarding the faulty battery but Samsung are placing a priority on the safety of its customers and stopping sales of the Galaxy Note 7 for now.

Those who have bought and received their Galaxy Note 7 devices can replace ther current device in the coming weeks when the solution for the issue is found. You can contact the Samsung Malaysia Careline at 1-800-88-7799 for further information.

After several reports of the devices exploding in the hands of the consumers, Samsung is said to be readying for a worldwide recall of the newly released Samsung Galaxy Note 7 from markets that it is available now while they get to the bottom of the problem plaguing the new flagship.

Samsung Malaysia recently presented the innovative yet secure ways their latest Samsung Galaxy Note 7 can provide mobile solutions for Malaysia's B2B and Enterprise sectors. Showcasing business solutions available to businesses, these solutions leverage the Samsung Knox security platform, IP68 water and dust resistance for the abiltiy to work anywhere including using the S Pen underwater (even the S Pen is waterproof) but the main highlight of the night was the Galaxy Note 7's iris scanner, allowing for better contactless security.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 comes equipped with a Dual Pixel 12MP rear camera coupled with Optical Image Stabilization. We gave it a go with the slow motion mode in the video below.
