    In these past months and weeks many of us have been working from home, so for this most recent CMCO, we took the opportunity to try out the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G for its main purpose, productivity! Utilizing a top-of-the-line Samsung Exynos 990 chipset, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage you can easily use it’s Link to Windows or Samsung Notes functions to move your work to a laptop seamlessly but how about just by itself? We checked that out with 1 day of working with the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G during the CMCO below.

    Adobe Photoshop is nearly synonymous with awesome photo editing. However, with recent AI-powered features like Adobe Sensei, it is becoming a lot easier for image editors and photographers to edit better photos. Now, with Adobe Photoshop Camera, you can apply most of the Photoshop magic in real-time for out-of-this-world selfies and super surreal scenery. 

    We managed to get some early preview time with the app, so here’s our first impressions of the Adobe Photoshop Camera. FYI, we tried it out for both Android and iOS, using a midranger like the Samsung Galaxy A50, a former flagship like the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and a more current flagship like the Apple iPhone 11.     We’ve all been raving about the Huawei P30 Pro’s camera capabilities from Night shot to the 50x zoom but how well does the selfie camera fare? DxOMark, a company that tests out camera capabilities extensively, the device fares pretty decently, scoring a score of 89 with 90 points in photo and 88 in video.

The headphone jack was among the first things to get the boot but we may not see the SD card slot leaving so soon but there is another alternative to that: Combining the SD card with the SIM card!

    Camera-centric site DxOMark has given the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus 109 points, joining the same rank as Huawei Mate 20 Pro and P20 Pro. But thanks to its 10MP (dual pixel) + 8MP dual front cameras, the Galaxy S10+ is now the selfie king with a score of 96. According to them, the 10MP dual-pixel autofocus main sensor with f/1.9 aperture and 8MP depth sensing f/2.2 aperture secondary sensor lets the Galaxy S10+ “offers the best front camera performance for both still images and video” so far, increasing image detail while keeping down noise levels compared to the Galaxy Note 9.

    Just recently, one of the popular YouTube pioneers, Wong Fu Productions just released a video entitled "Just Another Day" and although it's their usual slice of life genre (so-good). In fact, it really amazed me that it was shot with a Samsung Galaxy Note 9. This also brought up another question - will smartphones be able to take over those rocket-ish cameras in filmmaking? Well, that's a tough question.

    DxOMark has recently announced that from 22 January 2019 onwards, they will start benchmarking the front-facing selfie cameras which are found on modern day smartphones using similar testing procedures and methodologies that were used to test the rear primary cameras.
