A report by gizchina.com seems to hint that last year’s Samsung Galaxy S20 series may have been discontinued and it will not be available for purchase from Samsung’s official stores. While much is known in regards to the exact reason why Samsung discontinued the S20 series, we have good reason to suspect that it was done to encourage customers to purchase the Galaxy S21 series instead.

Last night, Samsung introduced the latest Samsung Galaxy S21 series. Since it was a global launch, it wasn't long before Samsung Malaysia announced the official local prices and pre-order freebies. As per tradition, we will be comparing the telco pre-order packages, which include Celcom, Digi, Maxis, and U Mobile.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 series has been officially unveiled starting from the price of RM3699 for the Galaxy S21, while the Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra is priced at RM4299 and from RM5899 respectively. With that being said, the aforementioned smartphones will now be available pre-order via their official website starting from 15 January 2021 onwards.

It seems that Samsung has uploaded an official video on their Samsung US YouTube channel, giving us a better idea on when to expect the new Galaxy S21 series smartphone. While not much about the upcoming smartphone was not showcased in the video, they did give us a peek at all the previous Galaxy S series devices.
