Based on a statement by androidheadlines.com, there could be a possibility that Samsung might consider ditching Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipsets in favour of their own Exynos 1000 chipset (in the US market too). Not only that, but another reason why Samsung might be keen on switching to Exynos is that next year’s Snapdragon 875 chipset might be considered overkill for the Galaxy S21 series devices.

Earlier, it was rumoured that Samsung was considering using screens made by Chinese firm BOE on their new smartphones. The change comes as it's believed that BOE’s OLED panels are cheaper than Samsung’s in-house screens. However, it is reported that the panels supplied by BOE couldn't make it to become the screens of the next Galaxy S series as they have failed in quality tests.

Based on a statement by Ice Universe on Twitter, it seems that next year’s Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone will most likely come equipped with an under-display front-facing selfie camera. However, there could be a chance the aforementioned selfie camera might not perform as well compared to selfie cameras housed in a dewdrop or hole-punch notch.
