After months of rumours, speculations and anticipation, Samsung today finally unveiled its latest flagship smartphone lineup, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Comprising the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra, the South Korean tech giant said that the lineup marks a new era of Samsung Galaxy's ultimate premium phone experience.

Samsung is set to unveil its latest flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series this 2 February and ahead of the launch, more alleged leaks are coming out regarding the lineup. The latest of which is in regard to the SoC under the hood, which would be a custom version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

With the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 series set for release in just a few more weeks on 2 February, 2:00AM Malaysian Time, Samsung has not forgotten their Galaxy S22 Ultra. Featuring Samsung’s Nightography, One UI 5 and more, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is apparently the only device being used to shoot an upcoming short film called Jackals & Fireflies by Charlie Kaufman.

As previously reported, the next Samsung event is confirmed to be held on 1 February 2023. It will start at 10 AM (PST) / 1 PM (EST) in San Francisco, USA, so in Malaysia's timing, that will be 2 AM on 2 February 2023 via livestream.

After the introduction of satellite connectivity by both Apple and HUAWEI in their latest smartphones, it looks like the feature would also be coming to next year's Samsung Galaxy S23 lineup. This is according to a report from South Korea which claims that Samsung is currently working on transmitting text messages and low quality images via satellite.

Samsung is said to launch a new version of the charging pad next year. The company debuted the Wireless Charger Trio in 2020 with the Galaxy Note 20 series. It allows charging three devices simultaneously. Recently, Dutch publication GalaxyClub spotted a new charging accessory in development, and it goes by the name Wireless Charger Hub, hinting at an upgrade to what we had in 2020.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is expected to be released in early 2023 and based on reports coming from South Korea, it will be featuring an upgrade in the camera department. In fact, the main camera will be upgraded to feature a whopping 200MP, the first significant improvement in some 4 years.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is not set for release until early 2023, but details and specs of the upcoming flagship have been in the rumour mills for a while now. The latest of which is regarding the telephoto cameras, whereby the series will allegedly reuse the same cameras found on its predecessors.
