Next year, the Mobile World Congress 2017 will be happening in February 2017 and there's a good chance that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will make an appearance, given that it's a tradition for Samsung to showcase their flagship around that period.

Developed by the same who created Siri, it could have been something special for the Korean company. Now however a report has stated that this may not happen, thanks to Google Assistant.

According to a new report finding from South Korea, news has it that Samsung will plan to release curved-screen variants for their Galaxy S8 flagships starting next year, discarding any flat-screen ones.

A new fingerprint sensor technology introduced by Synaptics may be the option that Samsung will take for their upcoming flagship smartphone for 2017. The new optical-based fingerprint sensor from the company dispenses the need of a physical sensor on the smartphone itself.

First the Motorola Moto Z, then the Apple iPhone 7, and now if the report is correct, Samsung is set to do away with the headphone jack with their upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 model. This means that your current headphone line will not be compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S8.

We are just four more months away until Samsung officially reveals the brand new Galaxy S8 to us, we are not really sure what to expect, rumours have it that the device will adopt an autofocus on the front camera, a buttonless home button, and a bezel-less design. This time, the latest rumour is Samsung is planning to follow what Apple has done for their latest iPhone, which is implementing stereo speakers.

To make things a little bit more unique, companies usually feature new and innovative features in their flagships so that consumers will flock to the brand and get one unit for themselves. Samsung may just change the game again with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8, as rumours has it that it will have autofocus (AF) in the front camera sensor.

Back in October, we reported that Samsung has made an 8GB RAM module and have plans to utilize it in their smartphones sometime in the future. Naturally, we would think the Galaxy S8 will be the first to use it, but that won't be the case anymore.
