If you’re a Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9 Plus owner, we’ve got some bad news regarding your smartphone. Starting this month, the South Korean tech giant will no longer provide security updates and software support, making the March 2022 security update officially the last for the Galaxy S9 series.
The Galaxy S9 series was launched back in 2018 as Samsung’s latest and greatest flagship that year. Sadly, now in 2022, Samsung has decided to remove both devices from its security update page.

Based on a report by SamMobile, Samsung has recently mentioned that Bixby will not work on Samsung devices running on Android Oreo or older starting 1 January 2020. According to the statement, only smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S9 series, S8 series, Note 8, as well as the Galaxy A9.

The Android 9.0 Pie is officially available on the Samsung Galaxy S9 as well as the S9 Plus in Malaysia. In order to do so, head to the settings menu then select Software Update after you scroll down, then select download update manually.

Ice Universe has released a leaked photo of the Samsung Galaxy S10 on Twitter showcasing the Samsung Galaxy S10 design as well as the casing it will be housed in. Based on the picture, the design seems to have a horizontal island with a double camera, flash as well what seems to be the heart rate sensor.

Rumour has it that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 will come equipped with a side mounted fingerprint scanner for the cheapest variant as opposed to having it in the rear like the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+. It will also feature a 5.8-inch flat Infinity Display as well compared to the other variants of the S10. The others will instead come equipped with an Under Display Fingerprint Sensor similar to that of the VIVO X21, hinting that the upcoming devices will also feature a thin bezel along with a 6.2-inch display for the mid-range variant and a 6.44-inch display for the most expensive variant of the S10.

Based on leaks reported by sammobile.com, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 will be fitted with the Exynos 9820, higher screen-to-body ratio, in-display fingerprint sensor, triple camera sensors and other technological advancements. Not only that, the leaks states that the Samsung device will not be branded as Galaxy, but instead carry a new “Beyond” branding instead and Samsung will be releasing 3 variants of the Samsung “Beyond” device.
