Samsung has officially announced a number of smartphones including the Samsung Galaxy Ace 4, Samsung Galaxy Core II, Samsung Galaxy Young 2 and Samsung Galaxy Star 2. These smartphones are obviously headed for the entry-level market they are notable in that some of them will come with Android 4.4 KitKat. While there are even quad-SIM smartphones out on the market, few better-known brand names offer anything past dual-SIM. However, Samsung have recently come out with a triple-SIM smartphone called the Samsung Galaxy Star Trios. Going for the low-end to entry-level smartphone market, the Galaxy Star Trios has very similar in terms of tech specs with the Samsung Galaxy Star S5280 with features that include a 1GHz Snapdragon S1 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB storage, 3.14-inch display with 240 x 320 pixel resolution, 2MP rear camera, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and HSDPA support along with a 1300 mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy Star Trios should be available in Malaysia soon but is currently being sold in Brazil for $165 (RM549) which is quite high for these tech specs. However, if you are the type who absolutely needs three SIM cards, this shouldn't be an issue.
