The Samsung S5670 also known as the Galaxy Fit is another one of Samsung’s entry in the plethora of mid-range Android-powered phones. Also known as Samsung i5500 Corby Smartphone, Samsung Galaxy Europa, Samsung Galaxy 550
Samsung Galaxy 5 shouldn’t be confused with Samsung Galaxy S which is a high end flag ship model from the Korean electronics giant. Galaxy 5 is an entry level smartphone and it is one of the cheapest Android phones in the market. The low price doesn’t necessarily mean that the phone has compromised on a lot of features.
Samsung Galaxy 5: Design
The Galaxy 5 has a rounded, distinctive design with curved back. This makes it easy and comfortable to hold the phone in the hand but when you put it on a flat surface, the handset rocks from one side to the other. I liked the finish of the phone, it is attractive and glossy and has chrome edging. However, the glossy finish also attracts a lot of fingerprints easily and this won’t go well with hygiene freaks who love to keep their gadgets clean.

The Samsung Galaxy Mini is a recently launched Android phone which is a bit on the small side. While being a budget phone means that plenty of features are left out or they’re not as good as they could be, the S5570 offers a good experience, especially if you’re a beginner with Android, that wants to test the waters before getting a more expensive model.
Samsung Galaxy Mini: OS & Processor
Galaxy Mini’s OS is Android 2.2 Froyo and the processor installed on it is a 600MHz model, which isn’t much when you compare it with the 1GHz that most phones come with these days, but it does its job well enough for daily use.

Samsung's one of the most interesting Android manufacturers, and the Samsung Galaxy Q could be one of its most interesting products yet: if the rumours are correct, this year's IFA 2011 will see a "tabphone" that's half tablet, half phone.
Samsung Galaxy Q: Screen
Details are thin on the ground, but we're hearing from Yahoo Korea that the Galaxy Q specifications will include a 5.3-inch Super AMOLED screen. That would make it around an inch larger than existing Galaxy handsets, which is worryingly close to Stupidly Large territory.

We previously reported about the Project F series of premium smartphones from Samsung which may have a metal body, 16MP OIS cameras and other superior tech specs or features but now it appears that it may be called theSamsung Galaxy F series instead. While there is already the Samsung Galaxy S series, the new Samsung Galaxy F series will spare no expense in making a super premium lineup of smartphones with top-of-the-line features such as Samsung Octa-core Exynos processors and the aforementioned metal chassis. No news on Malaysia pricing or release dates but this Samsung Galaxy F series is expected to be priced higher than the Samsung Galaxy Note series. This strategy fits with Samsung's usual 'carpet bombing' of a model for every need and we may see the first Samsung Galaxy F smartphone during the holiday season at the end of 2013.

Samsung have confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch will soon be compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note II and Galaxy S III smartphones. The news comes courtesy of Lee Young-hee, Executive Vice President for Marketing of Samsung who stated that the S4 would be compatible by end of October 2013. The Note II and Galaxy S III on the other hand will be compatible by end of December. This compatibility hinges on the smartphones getting their Android 4.3 updates which will then enable the Bluetooth 4.0 LE support required by the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch to work. As mentioned earlier, the Samsung Galaxy Gear has an RRP of RM999 in Malaysia although it can be acquired for free as a combo deal with certain local telcos. In related news, Samsung will be working on apps or a user experience to make the Gear smartwatch pop more as they acknowledge that the smartwatch "lacks something special".
