Recently, Tesla owner and CEO Elon Musk himself, who tweeted on his X platform, said that Tesla Robotaxi has begun offering self-driving passenger delivery services in the city of Austin, Texas, in the United States. So, what should you know about it?

Chinese car giant Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co. Ltd (Geely) has recently launched a batch of satellites to orbit Earth that are designed to connect the next generation of fully-autonomous cars. The satellites may also potentially be used for any future autonomous cars by Malaysian national car Proton as Geely holds a 49.9 percent stake in the company.

A car is not what you'd expect a company like Apple to be involved in building. But the company is looking to develop an electric car, by investing around RM14 billion in Hyundai. Moreover, the company's first electric car could be fully autonomous.

If you haven't been following Apple news, the Apple Car project has been in and out since 2017. Not much is known about the technology, except that today we learn the vehicle is actually ahead of schedule, at least according to a Taiwan news source. According to the anonymous Taiwanese executives and manufacturers, it's scheduled to be released in Q3 of 2021.

Apart from selling telecommunications equipment and consumer electronics, HUAWEI is now focusing on the automobile industry too. It is reported that the Chinese tech giant invests heavily in smart car solutions and one of them is to create cost-effective LiDAR technology.
