In another addition to the 7-Series, Qualcomm just announced a new Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform. Like the other new chips, the new platform offers on-device generative AI capabilities for mobile gaming, camera and video, and more.

As announced today, the brand new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset has been revealed by Qualcomm and it's expected to arrive by the end of 2022. Besides presenting the key features, the company also announced a few global OEMs and brands to adopt the new chipset. 

As most of you heard, the Nintendo Switch sales skyrocketed in Malaysia due to the pandemic when Malaysians were looking for ways to have some fun at home. This resulted in a shortage of Switch consoles for a while but it is now back to normal as commented by Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa. Sharp, one of the premier manufacturers of displays, has reveal a display that is without bezels, and spans from corner to corner.

Japan Display Inc, (JDI), one of the major smartphone display supplier in the world, just announced their new display technology called “Full Active” panel. The new design boasts it can reduce the width of the bottom bezel down to as narrow as the other three sides, potentially reducing the size of smartphones using this display type.
