    Continuing their 9.9 Super Shopping Day tradition, Shopee Malaysia have announced that for this year, it will start from 27 August 2018 for 14 days of online shopping with up to RM20000 in prizes to be given away. The actual 9.9 Super Shopping Day still happens on 9 September 2018 with the best deals, including flash sales 99 million Shopee coins via the Shopee Shake game (with 9 time slots happening on 9.9) and up to 99% discounts.

    Shopee Malaysia and DHL eCommerce join hands for easier next-day delivery

    Shopee Malaysia and DHL eCommerce have announced a partnership today to offer domestic delivery in Malaysia for Shopee sellers and buyers. This means that Shopee sellers and buyers can now opt to utilize DHL delivery for all product deliveries on Shopee with next-day delivery to most locations in Malaysia and 2 to 3 days delivery for more remote locations.

    Shopee and honor Malaysia officially launched the honor 7A and Phantom Green honor 10 today. The honor 7A will be priced at RM479 for the 2GB RAM + 16GB storage version and RM569 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage version but both will offer a 5.7-inch HD 18:9 aspect ratio fullview display and an energy efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset.

    The RM1599 Phantom Green honor 10 will also be made available with freebies worth RM298. Both versions of the honor 7A and the Phantom Green honor 10 are expected to arrive on 8 June 2018 in conjunction with Super honor Day. All honor products will also get a 30% off discount for that day as well.

    Shopee Malaysia recently announced the results of their pre-Raya survey done from 2 April to 9 April 2018 of 140000 Malaysians, showing that 80% start preparing for Raya a month before Ramadan, with 90% regularly shopping online and 95% looking for deals and low prices for doing so. In line with that, Shopee have launched their Cahaya Raya campaign starting from 3 May 2018 to 17 June 2018, with deals, promotions and prizes worth more than RM1.5 million and up to 90% discounts from 100000 products.

    As their Wang with Shopee campaign comes to a close on 25 February, Shopee recently announced a new PayDay campaign right afterwards from 26 February 2018 to 28 February 2018. For the PayDay campaign, online shoppers will get 18 Shopee coins for every RM1 spent for the aforementioned 18% Cashback and more.

    Shopee recently announced their findings regarding their Wang with Shopee campaign. Featuring over 6 million products, the chance to win a grand prize of RM8888 in cash via Golden Tickets and their Fortune Ang Pao game, Shopee found that there was an increase of 32% in online searches on Shopee during this campaign. While iPhones, smartwatches and Xiaomi smartphones topped the gadgets category, most of the top searches were about clothes, shoes, toys and bags.

    The recent Shopee Birthday Sale that started on 12.12 or 12 December 2017 and ended on 14 December 2017 saw 2.5 million orders in 24 hours regionally and more than 500000 items sold in Malaysia for a massive increase over last-year's Shopee Birthday Sale. Malaysians apparently mostly bought PETRONAS fuel cards with over 3100 unit sold within 24 hours and the largest single transaction by one buyer being RM15000. Facial Masks and data cables were the most popular products while Shopee's fastest Shocking Sale or flash sale got sold out in 49 seconds proving that online shopping on Shopee Malaysia is here to stay.

    Collaborating with Facebook, Shopee Malaysia held and organised a Shopee University workshop for their sellers to maximise sales on Shopee with Shopee's various features and on Shopee with Facebook. Like other Shopee University courses this workshop was completely free complete with free food and drink.
