News & Reviews:   Snapdragon 888 Pro

It's have been months since Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 888 and many are starting to wonder if there will be a Plus variant. So far, that doesn't seem to be the case. But there's a recent rumour about a 4G-only variant, which is dubbed the Snapdragon 888 Pro.

If Qualcomm continues the tradition, we might very well see a Snapdragon 888+ (or Snapdragon 888 Pro) chipset this year. There is some new evidence that that the company is already testing it, appearing on Geekbench 5 which may be the said new chipset.

Every quarterly, there would always be a new chipset for the next generation. A good example of this is none other than the Snapdragon 865 and Snapdragon 865+ that were released in the same year. Now, according to a new rumour - Digital Chat Station claimed that the Snapdragon 888 Pro chipset is now being tested and is expected to launch in Q3 of 2021.
