Today, Sony Mobile has finally unveiled the Xperia XZ3. If we count in their predecessor, the Xperia XZ2 that was revealed earlier this year in February 2018 at the MWC 2018 event, as well as the XZ2 Premium, the Xperia XZ3 is already their third flagship and also the first newest phone to come with Android 9.0 Pie (not counting upgrades). By the way, its price tag is listed $900 in the United States, which roughly translates to ~RM3702 here. Not surprised, haha. 

Just before Sony kicks off its 2018 IFA event tomorrow in Germany, it seems that Geekbench has officially released the real Xperia XZ3 image renders as well as specifications that put the rumours to sleep. The specifications aren't much, though, but it's enough to assure us that it won't be going crazy on having quad-cameras as previously rumoured.

IFA 2018 event will hit off the stage in Germany soon and we know Sony will be holding a press conference there. Usually, the company will reveal new gadgets at the end of the year but it seems that they have changed their minds. According to the new Twitter teaser video, a new Sony smartphone is definitely coming.

So, Sony Xperia XZ3 and Xperia XZ3 Premium - These are the two of the latest flagship phones speculated to appear at the IFA 2018 event in Germany. Most of the details online are not very clear, but we have some ideas of what it can offer, such as the Snapdragon 845 chipset and maybe this piece of render image video provided by @OnLeaks from Twitter, giving us the unofficial look of the Xperia XZ3.

If you think there's only Samsung, Apple and Huawei left for the big guns this year, think again! Sony Mobile has just confirmed that they will be holding the IFA 2018 on 30 August 2018. What phone could they be revealing? Well, speculations are up now and it's quite likely that the new Xperia XZ3 and XZ3 Premium  could make a debut.

That being said, we are likely to see a Sony smartphone with dual rear cameras as well as a dual front facing selfie camera in the near future. There’s no info regarding the release date, official model name, price as well as when the device will be available in Malaysia.
