Despite the pandemic going on, some companies are still managed to do well maintaining its revenue and one of them is Spotify. The company that provides music streaming service has hit 130 million subscribers in the first quarter of 2020, which is up by 31 percent from last year's report. Other than that, the company has also announced that their users' listening behavior is different now as lockdowns are going on in many countries.

Google recently introduced a new tab in the Youtube Music app called “Explore” which lets the user find new music based on your listening history on the app. Furthermore, Google split the Explore tab into several sub-sections including “Chill”, “Commute”, “Focus”, and more which lets you determine the mood of the music you are listening to.

Not only do adults and teenagers need music in life, but kids also need them too. The largest music streaming company, Spotify, has now launched Spotify Kids in the US, Canada, and France to bring a library of songs that is curated just for kids. The standalone app doesn’t just come with kids’ favourite bops, it also features a colourful interface for them to interact with.

This time, the famous Jane Manchun Wong has spotted another code in Spotify, revealing a new feature which we didn’t know we need with the help of Siri, Google Assistant, or Amazon Alexa. The code has revealed that Spotify is working on a voice command ‘Hey Spotify’ to let users ask the app to play songs, albums, and apps without typing anything.

Apple is facing serious kickbacks since Netflix and Spotify decided to stop all subscription payments from Apple’s App Store and now Youtube TV. So remember to switch your payment method before March if you’re still paying your Youtube TV subscription through Apple’s App Store.

Based on a statement by Beijing ByteDance Technology, they are currently in the talks with labels such as Universal Music, Sony Music, as well as Warner Musics to have their songs included on a new music streaming service. The aforementioned service has yet to be named, but ByteDance plans to have it available on markets such as India, Indonesia and Brazil due to the growing popularity of streaming services.
