Recently, DeepMind has recently mentioned that their AlphaStar AI is better than 99.8% of the player base on Battle.net. In addition to that, but AlphaStar AI also managed win most of its match against professional Starcraft players who have been playing the game for more than a decade. The way DeepMind has managed to achieve this feat is by mimicking professional Starcraft players, as well as utilizing the reinforcement training in order to make AI learning more efficient.

Hey TechNave gamers! Christmas is literally around the corner and I’m sure you guys are excited to open up your gifts. Hey gamers! The Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales have just passed and I’m actually feeling my wallet to be a little lighter (or in case, empty, as I wait for my next paycheck to drop in). Oh well, I’m sure our tears would dry (temporarily) when our ordered packages come in or the intro scene of our just purchased games play on our screens. Unless you purchased Fallout 76. Then there’s no joy for you for sure. As for me, I’m just smiling (and tearing up a little) whenever I lay my eyes on the Nvidia RTX 2070 GPU I just purchased. #PCmasterrrace!

If you've grown up playing StarCraft, you'd remember how terrible the A.I. is back in the 90's, with their units hilariously walking in a straight line and not knowing what to do after the first two waves of attack; or retreating their entire army back to their base in StarCraft II if one of their workers is harassed, despite the improved A.I.. Well, that could be all changed in the future, now that Google Deepmind has announced their collaboration with Blizzard Entertainment to incorporate A.I. and Machine Learning in StarCraft II with researchers around the world.
