In case you didn’t know, TNB’s Allo City Broadband launched a Rahmah package for one of their internet plans. The Rahmah internet plan offers 100Mbps speed for customers at a more affordable price. A total of 18 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations will be installed along PLUS Highways by the end of the year. This is thanks to a collaborative effort by PLUS Malaysia Bhd and Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB).

Allo Technology, a subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) is offering internet speed of up to 1Gbps for residential users and up to 10Gbps for enterprises in Malaysia thanks to its utilisation of fibre optic broadband. Available through the company’s City Broadband brand, they are also competitively priced, with the 1Gbps residential plan priced at RM199 per month. 

Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has announced that it will be building electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in various spot along the North-South Expressway as part of its collaboration with PLUS Malaysia Bhd. Accordingly, the utility firm is investing RM90 million over the next 3 years to support the EV ecosystem.

Previously, we reported that consumers who suffered losses due to the major power outage last Wednesday (27 July 2022) can claim rebate from Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). Now, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan has given an update on the rebate, saying that the decision on whether to provide rebate is subject to the result of ongoing investigation.

In the aftermath of the major power outage that affected several areas in Peninsular Malaysia last Wednesday (27 July 2022), those that have suffered losses due to the blackout has been told that they can claim rebate from Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). This was announced by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources (KeTSA), Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan yesterday.

UPDATE - TNB Careline has announced that the electricity has been restored. The issue was a supply disruption caused by a piece of equipment at Yong Peng North Main Entry Substation (PMU) in Yong Peng, Johor. The electricity power is expected to be gradually restored in each area soon. 

By now, you should know about the news of the blackout in several parts of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. More specifically - Shah Alam, Nilai, Hulu Langat, Bukit Jalil, Selayang, Segambut, Cheras, Seri Kembangan and Bangi. That being said, the blackout has also affected other services such as the Rapid KL LRT train line, Digi services and some traffic lights.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has proposed for Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and Perodua to forge cooperation in introducing affordable electric vehicle (EV) charging rates in Malaysia. Furthermore, Ismail also proposed for Telekom Malaysia (TM) to join in and provide data package that will enable users to book EV charging sessions online.
