TNG Digital Sdn. Bhd., the operator behind Malaysia’s TNG eWallet, has announced a new partnership with Eastel, a digital-first mobile connectivity provider, aimed at expanding the eWallet’s ecosystem beyond payments and financial services. The collaboration integrates mobile connectivity services directly into the TNG eWallet app, allowing users to manage more of their everyday mobile needs without leaving the platform.

Today, TNG Digital is implementing TapSecure for Touch 'n Go eWallet Visa Card online transactions. It will be in effect on 17 March 2025 as a new one-tap approval function that will replace SMS One-Time Passwords (OTPs).

Touch ’n Go (TnG) eWallet has revealed new changes to how it treats reloads using credit cards, whereby customers will be charged a 1% admin fee for all manual reloads above RM1000 starting this November.
