As reported before, Taobao Malaysia has finally added a new language to its platform with Bahasa Malaysia. Just in time to kick off its annual 618 Mid-Year Sale, the updated interface is part of Taobao’s broader effort to localise the shopping experience and break down language barriers.

Do you enjoy shopping online on Taobao? And what if your preferred language is in Bahasa Malaysia? Well, good news. Taobao Malaysia announced plans to further enhance the local shopping experience by launching a Malay-language interface tentatively in June.

Taobao is one of the popular e-commerce sites used in China, but it may not have achieved high popularity in Malaysia when compared to others because of the Chinese language display which may limit the customer experience in buying the products offered. Now, they have announced the English language option for Malaysian users.
