As everyone should know, President Trump's tariffs have caused a ruckus all over the world. But recently, he announced a 90-day pause and a "substantially lowered Reciprocal Tariff" of 10% to countries that did not retaliate against the tariffs he imposed. That said, China is not getting the same treatment, as Trump raised the tariff rate again to 125%.

This week, Samsung was ordered to pay a penalty of $601 million (~RM 2.66 billion) to the Indian government after being found to have evaded paying tariffs on telecommunications equipment brought into the country. Samsung received a warning notice in 2023 after the equipment was sold to local telecommunications company Reliance Jio.
