Deputy Minister of Communications Teo Nie Ching in Parliament today revealed that the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has blocked 549 porn sites and 69 prostitution websites from January to 1 June this year. She also revealed that MCMC had collaborated with social media operators to remove similar items on the latter’s platforms.

Deputy Minister of Communications Teo Nie Ching has announced that the Cyber Security Bill is projected to be tabled in Parliament by the end of this year at the latest.
