Earlier today, Tesco has recently announced that they have introduced the Order & Collect service where you can place orders for essential items via WhatsApp and Tesco will have it ready for you to collect on the same day. However, it is best to note that the Tesco will only take the first 100 orders a day and you can only order up to 25 items at one go.

Due to the fact that Shopee is considered e-commerce which falls under the retail category, Shopee will continue business as normal during the Restricted Movement Order which is happening from 18 March until 31 March 2020. With that said, you could easily get more than 10000 types of products from more than 7 partner retailers such as Mydin, Tesco, Nestle, Aeon Big, Vinda and more.

With the recent announcement of the movement restriction by the Malaysia Government, it was announced that food stores and food supply will still be running as usual. However, many are still more concern than ever with this announcement, as they don't feel comfortable going out to buy any food grocery.

Tesco Malaysia is getting ready to roll out a new app for use in its stores nationwide and it seems to be a really useful one. The Scan & Shop app is part of the company's efforts in digitalising its business and enhancing customer experience. Currently, 59 out of 60 Tesco stores in Malaysia are ready for the new system.
