Meta-owned social media platform Instagram is introducing a new feature soon, which involves Polls. Currently under testing, users can soon create Polls in the comments section of an Instagram post.

If you still use Threads, you would have heard the news about Meta launching a web version. Well, looks like it's happening and according to Meta spokesperson Christine Pai and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, it's now rolling out for the next few days.

With X (Twitter) losing its user base, you'd think Threads was well-positioned to take over. But that's not the case, with the latter's daily active user count falling by over 80% within a month. Fortunately, an upcoming update could turn things around.

When Threads first launched, it was met with hype and excitement for Internet users to explore the platform. However, half of the daily active users on Threads were gone after a week, and right now, the platform continues to drop drastically before reaching a month.

Today, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg finally announced that Threads will have a new Following feature update. It was confirmed on his Instagram broadcast channel, where Threads users can check out posts of people that they follow instead of random accounts. 

It's been more than a week since Threads by Instagram launched. As always, it was met with enthusiasm on how it would compete with Twitter. It even crossed over 100 million users in just five days but it seems that the hype has gone down considerably.

It's been almost 2 weeks since Threads launched, but the company isn't ready on its laurels. Previously, Instagram's boss announced that features like hashtags will be added. And one of those upcoming features should include DMs (direct messages).

Recently, Twitter threatened to sue Meta over its rival platform Threads. Now, Elon Musk’s social media platform company is further taking steps against the new app by blocking all of its links on Twitter’s search function.

It's been almost a week since Threads launched and even until now, most of us have no clue what to do with the app. Although it's mimicking Twitter, its role is quite different from what we expect, at least according to Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri.

Threads might be four days old. But that does not stop it from recording over 100 million users after its launch. This is a new world record because ChatGPT took over two months just to reach the same number.
