Rumours: WeBe 20GB data and voice plan from RM8/month or Unlimited everything plan for RM80/month

It seems that the signed agreements between Celcom, P1 and TM back in January are showing results. This collaboration may probably end up turning WeBe into a new mobile operator. Originally WeBe was just a community site for anyone to post a project that they want to have happened, then with enough WeBe community to back it, to then start receiving funds for their project.

From the leaked photos surfacing from popular local blogs and websites, it seems that WeBe will be offering 20GB of data, 1000 talk time minutes, and 1000 SMS for RM8/month. Best of all their unlimited plan will only cost RM80/month for unlimited 4g internet, unlimited SMS and unlimited phone calls.

Celcom, TM and P1 working together for better back-haul, HSBB access and domestic roaming service

As of 28 January, Celcom Axiata Berhad (Celcom)Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) and Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (P1) have signed a series of agreements – of which the three (3) core agreements are TM Next-Gen Backhaul (NGBH), High Speed Broadband (HSBB) (Access) and domestic roaming services – to further enhance and develop a greater internet experience for their respective customers.

The trio partnership will further enhance Celcom's 4G network through TM's provision with high bandwidth capacity, which will accelerate Celcom's ongoing efforts and goal in continuing their Long Term Evolution (LTE) site deployment nationwide. In addition, the agreement is also an extension for Celcom's access to TM's HSBB network.; which means Celcom can continue to provide fixed broadband services. P1, on the other hand, will facilitate Celcom's domestic roaming service provision to TM.
