Now and then, scammers would pose as fake officials to message us. This week, Touch 'n Go has issued an urgent public advisory warning users about fraudulent calls and individuals falsely claiming to represent the company.

Today, Touch 'n Go Malaysia released a statement regarding the confused TnG RFID expiry date. Initially, Twitter X user @tevanraj got confused with an email asking them to replace his RFID tag with a new one and get a cashback of RM20.50 during the one-week promotion for pilot users.

In regards to the recent news of additional charges for merchants via DuitNow QR, Touch 'n Go (TNG) Digital just announced that those will be waived. That's good news to many users who are reliant on the ewallet platform but it's only for now until further notice.

Today, Alan Ni, Chief Executive Officer of Touch 'n Go (TNG) Digital Sdn Bhd announced that TNG eWallet users can now conveniently pay in more areas under the 19 enabled councils, with complete coverage for both Kuala Lumpur and Selangor areas. The newly enabled councils are the Majlis Perbandaran Klang, Majlis Bandaraya Seremban - Nilai, and Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya. 

Touch 'n Go (TNG) Digital has been quite busy adding several features to the TNG eWallet app. Recently, the group signed a new partnership with Principal Malaysia and introduced eight new unit trust funds via GOinvest.

Just this morning, it has been reported that all the RFID lanes are temporarily closed at Pantai Toll Plaza and Bukit Kiara Toll Plaza (both ways) due to technical issues. As such, drivers on the highway have been told to use the Touch 'n Go lane for the time being.

Today, Touch 'n Go Group, via TNG Digital has launched GOprotect. It's a new platform where TNG eWallet users can purchase various types of insurance offerings. Currently, GOprotect features six insurance products such as WalletSafe, SafeTrip, SafeHome, CarInsure, CI Insure and MotoInsure. 

Today, the Touch ‘n Go Group via TNG Digital Sdn Bhd just launched two new insurance products, CI Insure and MotoInsure on the Touch ‘n Go eWallet. This initiative by the company is to envision the app as a one-stop insurance hub, where its customers can purchase insurance for various purposes, said Alan Ni, CEO of TNG Digital. 

These days, scammers are taking new levels to trick people out of sending them money. So as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance protection and security for its users’ accounts, Touch ‘n Go eWallet just announced that there will be five new measures to combat financial scams.
