Finally, after a few days, Touch 'n Go (TNG) Group just announced that the TNG eWallet and the new enhanced TNG card are now compatible with each other. The update just came in this morning on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Getting through tolls on highways could soon be less of a hassle in the near future. Touch 'n Go (TnG) has finally announced the implementation of Near Field Communication (NFC) technology for the TnG cards. Not only that, but the government has also stated that it will soon allow the public to pay using any digital payment provider, not just TnG.

For those unaware, the government is considering switching the tolls in Malaysia to fully cashless. The plan is to phase out Touch 'n Go and cash payments for RFID payments. However, things haven't been too smooth.

Just yesterday, the Touch ‘n Go Group just announced that all motorists in Penang can now use Touch ‘n Go card for parking at the Gurney Paragon Mall. This effectively makes Gurney Paragon be the first mall in the state to introduce and use Touch ‘n Go PayDirect, in which users can add their Touch ‘n Go card to their Touch ‘n Go eWallet to activate the PayDirect feature.
