Finally, after a few days, Touch 'n Go (TNG) Group just announced that the TNG eWallet and the new enhanced TNG card are now compatible with each other. The update just came in this morning on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. 

Getting through tolls on highways could soon be less of a hassle in the near future. Touch 'n Go (TnG) has finally announced the implementation of Near Field Communication (NFC) technology for the TnG cards. Not only that, but the government has also stated that it will soon allow the public to pay using any digital payment provider, not just TnG.

For those unaware, the government is considering switching the tolls in Malaysia to fully cashless. The plan is to phase out Touch 'n Go and cash payments for RFID payments. However, things haven't been too smooth.

Not sure about you, but the radio frequency identification (RFID) tolls can be a nightmare to some of us who have gotten stuck before. However, things might get better soon as new RFID tolls along the Hutan Kampung route to Sungai Dua come equipped with a technology that enables a smoother RFID experience, compared to the previous version.

Just yesterday, the Touch ‘n Go Group just announced that all motorists in Penang can now use Touch ‘n Go card for parking at the Gurney Paragon Mall. This effectively makes Gurney Paragon be the first mall in the state to introduce and use Touch ‘n Go PayDirect, in which users can add their Touch ‘n Go card to their Touch ‘n Go eWallet to activate the PayDirect feature.

Finally, a highly-requested Touch n' Go eWallet feature is going to be released this year by letting users reload Touch n' Go cards through the app. Through an interview, Chief Executive Officer Effendy Shahul Hamid said Touch ‘n Go has planned to do this because of customer feedback.

Today, Touch 'n Go have announced the RFID Self-Fitment Kit is now available for purchase across the nation. As previously reported, this product was designed to be a contactless convenient experience while driving. Customers may purchase it either Lazada and Shopee for just RM35. 

Once the Movement Control Order is lifted - and assuming it's not extended - many people could be looking to resume previous travel plans. For those of you who are doing so, you might want to look into using Touch 'n Go (TnG) eWallet during your trip. The company has just launched a cross-border payment service and it's going to be available first for Japan.

Reloading your Touch ‘n Go card is making a fuzz especially there are not many tolls having top-up stations when you don’t want to pay the 50 sen extra charges at petrol stations. But fear not, because Shell has announced to waived off the 50 sen top-up fee at their petrol stations.
