Today, U Mobile unveiled a brand-new range of 5G postpaid and prepaid plans. However, it's only for subscribers in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan. With the new U Postpaid Borneo 38 plan, U Postpaid Borneo 68 plan, and U Prepaid Borneo 20 plan, the starting price is only RM20 per month.

In conjunction with Merdeka, U Mobile has announced that its U Postpaid 68 plan is being upgraded. Starting from 1 September 2023, the refreshed U Postpaid 68 plan will offer double the data quota at 200GB 5G/4G data monthly for the same price of RM68 monthly. 

Today, U Mobile proudly announced that its broadband range has been expanded with the latest U Home 5G. As the first 5G home broadband plan in Malaysia that is contract-free, it's priced at just RM78 monthly with unlimited fibre-like speeds. 

If you are in Sabah, you're in for a treat from U Mobile. The orange telco just announced this year’s Kaamatan by offering plenty of freebies and gifts as part of its Kadazan Dusun Cultural Association (KDCA) campaign.

Today, U Mobile announced that its U Postpaid 38's mobile data has been doubled. Not only that, all the 5G U Postpaid Plans will have hotspot data unlocked which is a limited-time promotion.

To get more Malaysians to experience 5G connectivity, U Mobile is introducing free Unlimited 5G Weekends for its prepaid customers on Prepaid U35 and the newly launched Prepaid U40 plan. The free 5G weekend will begin at midnight every Saturday and end at 11.59 PM every Sunday.

Today, U Mobile announced that it has signed a collaboration agreement with TIME dotCom (Time). The initiative is understood to be a long-term strategy for U Mobile's Home Broadband lineup, which will increase its Malaysian household reach by more than seven folds, especially those in high-rise residential areas in major cities. 

As announced by U Mobile previously, its customers will be able to use 5G-ready postpaid and prepaid plans when using compatible devices today. Upon visiting the website, the company has already listed all the eligible postpaid and prepaid plans for 5G. 

It seems that U Mobile has cleared the air and announced that the company has signed the 5G Access Agreement (AA) with Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) on 30 October 2022. Before this, it was rumoured the orange telco jumped ship but that's not the case anymore. 

Today, U Mobile announced a collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies to explore the future of Smart Retailing. As part of this collaboration, U Mobile and Qualcomm will work together to enable digital innovations for retail players, enhancing customers' shopping experience and simplifying retailers' operations.
