WhatsApp recently improved its voice message support, where users no longer have to listen to the audio as they can read the transcript. Recently, WABetaInfo discovered a new feature where you will be able to reply to voice messages faster and easier. So, what should you know about it?

Voice messages are pretty common in Malaysia these days, so many of us are used to it. But sometimes you don't have the time to listen to the messages, which is when a transcript would be more useful. Fortunately, WhatsApp realizes that.

Have you ever tried sending voice messages in WhatsApp, but got cut off because you let go of the button? The chances of that happening isn't zero, and sometimes you might get distracted and want to get back to recording your message. In that case, wouldn't a pause button be amazing?

In Malaysia, a lot of WhatsApp users like to send voice messages instead of text messages. That's not always good, especially if it's an important discussion and you want to keep a record. But what if you can transcribe the voice message?

It seems that a tweet by @WABetaInfo revealed that WhatsApp could be working on allowing users to alter the playback speed on voice messages in the near future. While not much is known in regards to when the feature will be publicly available, it does give us a better idea of what to expect when it is officially available.
