Popular messaging platform WhatsApp is currently in the midst of introducing animated emojis to spice up your user experience. Spotted on WhatsApp Desktop beta, users can expect the feature to be ported to the full version of the app in the near future.

We have talked about WhatsApp Companion mode before and according to a new update from a source, the feature is currently in WhatsApp Beta for Android. Not only that but we also learn that this mode allows a single account to link up to four devices at the same time.

While the WhatsApp app has been getting a slew of updates over the months, there's something new for the WhatsApp Desktop version as well. According to Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook post, the team just launched a new update with encrypted video calls.

Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp was recently spotted testing a new ‘Newsletter’ feature in the latest beta version of its Android app. As the name suggests, the feature allows users to subscribe to newsletters from their favourite channel’s broadcasts.

WhatsApp may soon allow users to send photos at their original quality after the feature was spotted on the beta version of the app. This means that the Meta-owned messaging platform is currently testing the feature out and may well be included in a future update of the app.

Aptly called ‘Message Yourself’, the feature was previously spotted on the beta version of WhatsApp by WABetaInfo but has now been officially ported to the full version of the messaging app.

Spotted on the latest beta version of the app for iOS, the feature blocks both screenshots and screen recordings of ‘View Once’ media sent on the platform.

Popular messaging platform WhatsApp recently released a new native app on Windows that no longer requires users to link their phone to send, receive and sync messages. Available for download on the Microsoft Store, WhatsApp has also shared that the Windows app just ‘graduated’ from beta to a final release on the OS.
