    WhatsApp recently revealed that the next update for the chat messaging app could allow you to put up a video or photo status instead of the usual available or busy text-only status. These images or videos are still encrypted and visible to your contacts only and is in conjunction with 24 February 2017, which is WhatsApp's 8th birthday. As of the time of writing, our own WhatsApp is still the text-only version but the update is still rolling out, so keep calm and get ready to post your next gym photo as your WhatsApp status.

Lol, we're kidding about the freelance worker tracking thing but according to rumours, the Live Location Tracking feature is real and can be set for 1 minute, 2 minute, 5 minute or all the time tracking. Supposedly the feature is currently disabled by default but it will be available on both iOS and Android versions of the app. No Malaysia release dates yet so do take this rumour with a grain of salt.
