So here’s something fun for Apple owners, many may not know this due to old habits but users can use Siri to send text messages since September last year. Right now, Siri can be used to read unread messages too from your phone.

WhatsApp recently revealed that the next update for the chat messaging app could allow you to put up a video or photo status instead of the usual available or busy text-only status. These images or videos are still encrypted and visible to your contacts only and is in conjunction with 24 February 2017, which is WhatsApp's 8th birthday. As of the time of writing, our own WhatsApp is still the text-only version but the update is still rolling out, so keep calm and get ready to post your next gym photo as your WhatsApp status.

In a move to make sure freelance workers are actually where they say they are, WhatsApp may soon implement a feature that allows you to track the location of group members in real-time or at the same time as they are chatting. Lol, we're kidding about the freelance worker tracking thing but according to rumours, the Live Location Tracking feature is real and can be set for 1 minute, 2 minute, 5 minute or all the time tracking. Supposedly the feature is currently disabled by default but it will be available on both iOS and Android versions of the app. No Malaysia release dates yet so do take this rumour with a grain of salt.

A new feature that may be coming to WhatsApp may be useful for those who are looking to take back whatever they said on the chat app. A new beta version allows users to revoke or edit sent messages after it is sent to the other party.

For customers who roams a lot, Celcom has just updated their international roaming offering. It is now called Celcom Passports, and it is available from RM 18 a day for postpaid customers and RM10 for prepaid customers.

If you are the type that sends Whatsapp messages to many people at once, the new update on the world’s most popular chat app may interest you. They now have enabled multi-message sending and a ‘frequent chats’ module.

So according to sources, Whatsapp has already been working on making video calls on the app for quite some time (since December last year), and there are a limited number of beta testers said to have the capability to make video calls, which means it the feature is coming soon.
